Isis absorbed so many aspects of other goddesses that I dare not discredit the information above, but I will state for the record that she is wearing a feather here (traditionally associated with Ma’at.) But Isis embodying Ma’at is not something I will ever argue with.
I wondered about that too! I’ve gone with the museum’s identification of the figure, on the assumption that they’ve got information I haven’t. (If there are hieroglyphs there, I can’t see ‘em!)
